    Breaking: President Buhari Extends Vacation

    The president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has written to the National Assembly of his will to extend his vacation in the UK due to medical reasons.

    President Buhari had gone on a 10-day vacation in the UK and he's expected to be back on Monday, 6th February, 2017; but has now written to extend his stay in the UK.

    And while he was gone, there has been several rumours that he is dead. Thanks to the media, these false rumours were proven wrong.

    Meanwhile, Mr Femi Adesina who is a special adviser to the President on media and publicity stated that the president said he had to collect series of test results recommended by his doctors. He made the statement on the 5th of February, 2017.
    He said,

    "President Muhammadu Buhari has written to the National Assembly today, February 5, 2017, informing of his desire to extend his leave in order to complete and receive the results of a series of tests recommended by his doctors. 
    The President had planned to return to Abuja this evening, but was advised to complete the test cycle before returning. The notice has since been dispatched to the Senate President, and Speaker, House of Representatives.
    Mr. President expresses his sincere gratitude to Nigerians for their concern, prayers and kind wishes."
